Tula’s Institute Conducts 15-Day Faculty Development Program on Entrepreneurship
Dehradun: Tula’s Institute, Dehradun, conducted a 15-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Entrepreneurship organized in collaboration with TBI-KIET and sponsored by the Technology Translation and Innovation (TTI) Division, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
The program was conducted at the Tula’s Institute campus with the objective of equipping faculty members with essential entrepreneurial skills and fostering an innovation-driven ecosystem within educational institutions.
The FDP was inaugurated by Dr. Ravindra Gaur. Distinguished dignitaries present during the program and valedictory session included Dr. Rita Sen Gupta, Dr. Shailendra Kumar, Director, Tula’s Institute, Dr. Nishant Saxena, Additional Director, Tula’s Institute, Dr. Vijay Kumar Upadhyay, Registrar, Dr. Sunil Semwal, Dean Research and FDP Coordinator, Dr. Saurav Kumar, CEO, TBI-KIET, and Awadhesh Kumar, Manager, TBI-KIET.
The program also witnessed insightful sessions by eminent experts including Dr. Ritam Dutta from UPES, S. B. Bahuguna, Vijay Veer Singh, Priyash Gupta, Dr. S. P. Mishra, Anuj Raturi, Rajendra Kumar, Joint Director, DIC, and Mohit Nagpal, CEO, iTBI UPES, who shared their expertise on entrepreneurship, innovation, startup ecosystems, and institutional development.
Over the course of 15 days, 30 faculty members actively participated in sessions covering enterprise establishment, business model development, funding mechanisms, innovation management, and startup ecosystems. The participants gained practical exposure and valuable insights into building and supporting entrepreneurial ventures.
The program concluded successfully with participants acquiring knowledge and skills that will help them guide students and strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem within academic institutions.
The initiative marked an important step towards promoting innovation-led development and strengthening collaboration between academia and industry.
