Bringing Employers and Students Together
Dehradun: Career Buddy Club, Dehradun, hosted ‘Job Fest 2026’ in collaboration with and powered by Guru Nanak College, Dehradun. Held under the theme “Connecting Talent to Opportunity,” the event brought together employers, academic institutions, and students on a single platform.
The fest witnessed active participation from students representing various universities and colleges across Dehradun and nearby regions. The initiative aimed to provide direct access to job opportunities, internships, career guidance, and industry exposure.
Several organisations participated in the recruitment drive, including Zielhoch, The Leading Solutions, Stravence Global, PlanetSpark, Talent IQO, Teleperformer, Hike Education, Joshi Multispeciality Hospital, Apollo Pharmaceuticals, Finz Finance Pvt. Ltd., Biodeal Pharmaceuticals, among others.
The event featured on-the-spot placements, internship opportunities, walk-in interviews, and career counselling sessions. Students interacted directly with recruiters, with many receiving interview calls and preliminary selections during the fest.
In addition to recruitment, the event also offered support in resume building, interview preparation, and career planning, helping students prepare for their transition from academics to the professional world.
The organisers from Career Buddy Club stated that the vision behind Job Fest 2026 was to create a bridge between student talent and employment opportunities while guiding youth towards the right career path.
The event was supported by Guru Nanak College, Dehradun, which played a key role in hosting and facilitating the initiative.
