The Indian Premier league (IPL) 2026 champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have posted a heartwarming video of Virat Kohli having a light-hearted conversation with teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi after the final.
The video is quickly getting viral on social media as it features two of India’s favourite cricketers. It was a magical moment when Virat Kohli crossed paths with the teenage sensation after RCB’s historic triumph over Gujarat Titans (GT) in the grand finale of IPL 2026 in Ahmedabad.
The duo had a brief conversation during RCB’s celebrations, and the anticipation was very much built on what the great Indian batter would have told Vaibhav. Amid all this, RCB have posted a video in which they have revealed the conversation between the two.
During the conversation, the Indian batting icon was telling the youngster to focus on himself and avoid outside interference.
“Yahan se upar jana. Jo hua hai mehnat ki wajah se hua hai, belief ki wajah se hua hai. Kaun kya bol raha hai, kaise bol raha hai, chhod de,” Kohli told the youngster. (Keep moving forward from here. Whatever you have achieved has come because of your hard work and self- belief. Don’t pay attention to what people say or how they say it.)
Kohli then signed off with a line that quickly won over fans in a typical Virat Kohli style.
“Bas bat aur tum… Ek Bihari, sab pe bhari. Khatam game.”(Just you and your bat. One Bihari is enough to outshine everyone. Game over.)

The best piece of advice the 15-year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi could get! And who better than Virat Kohli to help fuel his fire in the right direction.… pic.twitter.com/MUqCRBo0la

For the unversed, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi had one of the greatest IPL campaigns ever with the bat for RR, and was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament, along with the orange cap. The left-hander smashed 776 runs at a strike rate of 237.30. Virat Kohli, too, had a great season with the bat for his side, as he clinched his second IPL title with them.
