Jasmine Sandlas Brings Lok Samvardhan Parv to a Grand Finale; Thousands Gather for Electrifying Musical Evening
Dehradun : The 6th Lok Samvardhan Parv concluded on a spectacular note at Parade Ground, Dehradun, with celebrated Punjabi singer and performer Jasmine Sandlas bringing the seven-day celebration to a high-energy finale. Thousands of enthusiastic visitors gathered for the concluding cultural evening, marking the culmination of a festival that celebrated India’s diverse traditional arts, crafts, handlooms, cuisine and cultural heritage.
Organised by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, in collaboration with the Uttarakhand Minorities Welfare and Waqf Development Corporation, Government of Uttarakhand, the festival brought together artisans, craftsmen, entrepreneurs, cultural performers and visitors from across the country on a vibrant platform.
The grand finale belonged to Jasmine Sandlas, whose powerful voice, distinctive style and electrifying stage presence had the audience singing, dancing and cheering throughout the evening. Connecting instantly with the crowd, Jasmine created an energetic and engaging atmosphere as she performed some of her most popular and recent chartbusters, including ‘Dhurandhar – Title Track’, ‘Shararat’, ‘Jaiye Sajana’, ‘Dhurandhar The Revenge – Aari Aari’, ‘Main Aur Tu’ and ‘Vaari Jaavan’, alongside popular fan favourites such as ‘Sip Sip’ and ‘Laavan’.
Her performance transformed Parade Ground into a vibrant celebration of music, with thousands of fans singing along to her popular tracks and matching her energy throughout the evening. Jasmine’s ability to connect with the audience and her powerful stage presence made the concluding musical evening a memorable finale to the festival.
The concluding evening brought the curtains down on a seven-day celebration that featured a diverse showcase of India’s traditional arts, crafts, handlooms, regional cuisines and cultural performances.
Throughout the seven-day festival, Lok Samvardhan Par witnessed an overwhelming response from visitors, with thousands flocking to the exhibition each day to explore the vibrant display of India’s rich handicrafts, handloom textiles, heritage crafts, traditional jewellery, home décor, woodcraft, brassware, terracotta, bamboo products, regional cuisines and live craft demonstrations. The enthusiastic footfall translated into encouraging sales for artisans, weavers, entrepreneurs and food stall owners, many of whom appreciated the festival for providing valuable business opportunities, wider market exposure and direct interaction with customers. Visitors also lauded the diverse range of products and the seamless blend of traditional craftsmanship, cultural performances and regional flavours that made Lok Samvardhan Parv a truly memorable celebration of India’s living heritage.
The Dehradun edition of Lok Samvardhan Parv also marked a significant milestone as the first-ever edition of the festival organised in partnership with a State Government, with Uttarakhand collaborating with the Ministry of Minority Affairs under the PM VIKAS Scheme.
