Chardham Yatra: The number of devotees visiting has crossed 30 lakhs.

Seeing the enthusiasm of the pilgrims, this time also the Chardham Yatra is moving towards a new record. The number of devotees who visited during the two-month yatra has crossed 30 lakh. Now the journey will continue for four more months. Last year, 46 lakh pilgrims had visited the entire yatra.

The Char Dham Yatra started on April 22 with the opening of the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri. The Chardham Yatra started in full swing after the opening of the doors of Kedarnath on 25th April and Badrinath Dham on 27th April. While the doors of Hemkund Sahib opened on 20 May.

The number of pilgrims visiting the Chardhams has crossed 30 lakh in the two months of the yatra.

In this maximum 10.20 lakh pilgrims have visited Kedarnath Dham. The government is expecting more than 50 lakh passengers for the yatra this time.

The number of registrations for the yatra has also crossed 48 lakhs.
