Akshara Singh and Tanmay Jangid take charge as Head Girl and Head Boy
Dehradun: Tula’s International School organised its Investiture Ceremony within the school premises, formally inducting the selected students into the School Cabinet for the academic session 2026–27. The event was graced by the School Principal and Chief Guest, Raman Koushal, along with Heads, Deans, Housemasters, faculty members, and students.
The ceremony commenced with the singing of the National Anthem. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, accompanied by a soulful devotional rendition by Kanika Maheshwari.
The highlight of the ceremony was the ceremonial march past by the newly appointed School Cabinet. The procession was led by Head Girl Akshara Singh and Head Boy Tanmay Jangid, followed by Cultural Secretaries Annika Gulabdas Gupta and Harsh Lodhani; School Sports Captains Mehrunisha Bajgai and Stanzin Jigmet; School Coordinators Henish Laisram and Atishay Jain; and School Discipline Captains Agrima Sahgal and Anmol Teterwal. The School Prefects included Himanshi (Athena), Yuvraj Odedra (Olympian), Suhan Gupta (Spartan), Nabh Jain (Titan), Saksham Munjal (Trojan), and Aakriti Lodha (Valkyrie). The House Captains were Kanika Maheshwari (Athena), Kavish Agarwal (Olympian), Kartik Kumar (Spartan), Aarav (Titan), Krish (Trojan), Dhanishka (Valkyrie), and Rishit Raj (Stark), while the Vice Captains included Yashas Mittal (Olympian), Aditya Kumar (Spartan), Devansh Jalan (Titan), Utkarsh Jaiswal (Trojan), Siddhi Shetty (Valkyrie), and Garv Jain (Stark).The House Sports Captains were Vaidehi Pundir (Athena), Sehraj Singh Gill (Olympian), Simon Dinodia (Spartan), Sourabh Kumar (Titan), Ujjwal Choure (Trojan), and Aashna (Valkyrie). The House Prefects included Vrinda Gidwani (Athena), Aditya Vikram Singh (Olympian), Yash Agarwal (Spartan), Yohansh Jain (Titan), Darsh Rungta (Trojan), and Adwitya Gaur (Valkyrie).
The march past reflected discipline, confidence, and a strong sense of responsibility among the student leaders. Subsequently, the Principal, along with the Heads, Deans, and Housemasters, conferred badges upon the office bearers, formally entrusting them with their duties. The oath of office was administered by the Dean of Activities, Sandeep Dutta, wherein the newly elected leaders pledged their commitment to upholding the values and ethos of the institution.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Raman Koushal congratulated the newly appointed council members and emphasised the importance of integrity, accountability, and servant leadership. He encouraged the students to lead by example and uphold the rich traditions of the school.
The program was coordinated and managed by Sandeep Dutta, Dean of Activities, along with the Sports Department headed by Deepak Rawat. The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Head Boy Tanmay Jangid, expressing gratitude to the Principal, faculty members, and students for their continued support.
