
Dehradun: The seven-day special camp organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Tula’s Institute, Dehradun, concluded successfully. The closing ceremony was held within the institute campus, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and guests.
The ceremony was attended by Director Dr. Shailendra Tiwary, Deputy Director Dr. Nishant Saxena, Registrar Dr. Vijay Upadhyay, along with faculty members including Tausif Iqbal (HOD), Emmanuel Gabriel, Sandeep Gautam, Vinayak Sharma, Ankit, and Lokendra. All the dignitaries appreciated the efforts of NSS volunteers and highlighted that such camps help in developing discipline, leadership, a spirit of service, and social responsibility among students.
During the seven-day camp, several social, health, and awareness activities were conducted. These included the inaugural session, a de-addiction awareness rally, a health check-up camp, sports competitions, and shramdaan activities in Mussoorie and Shikhar Fall.
The shramdaan drives at Mussoorie and Shikhar Fall particularly reflected the students’ commitment towards environmental conservation and cleanliness. The de-addiction rally and health camp played a significant role in spreading awareness in society. Additionally, sports competitions encouraged team spirit, enthusiasm, and healthy competition among students.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks extended by the NSS unit to all guests, faculty members, volunteers, and supporters. The camp proved to be a meaningful initiative in strengthening personality development, social awareness, and the spirit of nation-building among students.
