The Hundred Women’s 2026: Richa Ghosh, Smriti Mandhana reunite at Manchester Super Giants | CricTracker

India duo of Smriti Mandhana and Richa Ghosh have been reunited after the latter was picked up by the Manchester Super Giants at the very first The Hundred Women’s auction on Wednesday, 11 March.

The franchise earlier named the Manchester Originals signed Ghosh at her base price of GBP 50,000 after facing no challenge from any of their competitors. The side now possesses two India superstars after securing the services of Mandhana ahead of the auction as a ‘direct signing’.

Manchester Super Giants have bolstered their squad with some superstar names ahead of the 2026 The Hundred. These include the likes of Meg Lanning, Sophie Ecclestone, Paige Scholfield and Kathryn Bryce to name a few.

Both Mandhana and Ghosh played a crucial role in guiding Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women (RCB) to their second Women’s Premier League (WPL) title in Vadodara earlier this year. Mandhana finished the season with the Orange Cap having scored 377 runs, including 87 from 41 balls in the final to seal the trophy. Ghosh, on the other hand, scored 189 runs at a strike-rate of 151.20.
