There has been a clash between the soldiers of India and China once again. The clash is reported to have occurred near Pangong Tso Lake on the night of 29 August. The government has said that our jawans have thwarted the infiltration of Chinese soldiers.

The skirmish has taken place at a time when negotiations are continuing to reduce tensions at the border between the two countries. However, no damage was reported from the clash.

The Indian Army is fully alert about China’s trickery. China pretends to negotiate on one side, on the other hand, its army is trying to infiltrate. The Indian Army gave a befitting reply to the impudence of the Chinese soldiers.

The Chinese army made another attempt to change the status quo at the border. On the southern side of Pangong Lake, the Chinese army advanced with weapons, the Indian army not only stopped but drove back. According to the report, the Chinese Army has strengthened the position of the Indian Army at the place where it tried to infiltrate inside the border.

In a statement issued by the army’s PRO Colonel Aman Anand, it was said that the Indian Army wants to establish peace through dialogue but is equally determined to protect its country.

Significantly, in mid-June, there was a violent clash between the jawans of the two countries in the Galvan valley in eastern Ladakh. In this skirmish, 20 soldiers of the Indian Army were killed. At the same time, China did not share the information of its soldiers who were killed in the skirmish. However, a US intelligence report had reported that 35 Chinese soldiers were killed in the incident.

The deadlock between Indian and Chinese troops has continued in many areas along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh for the past three and a half months. India has been insisting that China must withdraw its army from the areas between Finger 4 and 8.
