Dehradun to witness one of its kind Sea World Carnival starting from 10th May


Over 3 lakh fishes of 200+ varieties on display

Dehradun, 9th May 2024:
 Doonites are all set to witness the one of its kind Sea World Carnival starting from 10th May, opposite Bannu School at Race Course. Organized by Apex World International, this carnival will showcase India’s largest underwater fish tunnel, with a collection of over 3 lakh fishes representing 200+ varieties.

Addressing the media during the press conference held today, Apex International addressing person Alankeshwar Bhaskar highlighted the carnival’s significance, likening it to the mesmerizing aquarium tunnels found in Dubai and Singapore. The carnival will feature a diverse array of exotic fishes, including Lionhead, Parrot Fish, Elephant Nose Fish, Angel Fish, Albino Fish, and Arowana Fish.

He further added, “A special hangar has been set up for these aquariums wherein the fish will be kept. A fully trained team of people is designated for their feeding and maintenance.”

Also adding, Sanjeev Sharma said, “The inaugural entry fees to the Sea World Carnival is Rs 30 while the entry fee to the fish tunnel is Rs 100 for all. The carnival starting from 10th May will go on till 25th June and will be a one of its kind experience for the residents of Dehradun.”

“In addition to the fish tunnel, the carnival will feature shopping stalls showcasing handmade and handicraft items, as well as wooden furniture. Various swings and rides have also been installed for children and adults. All the swings have also been fitness tested. A dedicated food court has also been set up,” added Vivek Sharma.
