
DIPAM Secretary Arunish Chawla said on Thursday that the process for a proposed IDBI Bank divestment is set to be completed by September.
He also said that the government has achieved divestments worth Rs 20,000 crore in the June quarter.
“Due diligence by qualified interested parties is complete… Their queries have been addressed,” said the official.
He also said that the technical documents for the IDBI divestment are ready.
For the current financial year, the central government plans to execute divestments to the tune of Rs 47,000 crore.
