Drone Application and Research Centre (DARC), ITDA has successfully conducted one week training staring from 4th April, 2022 on “DRONE HANDLING AND FORENSICS TRAINING” for 24 officials from Anti-Terror Squad, UP Police and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL),Uttarakhand Police.

The main objective of this training is to impart Drone handling and digital forensic knowledge in the field of drones. During this course DARC conducted lectures on Basic introduction of Drone, Data Extraction techniques from Drones, GIS application of Drone along with Field training on tactical surveillance and autonomous flying operations.

On this occasion the Principal Secretary, Shri Ramesh Kumar Sudhanshu (IAS), Home Department was invited as the Chief Guest along with Base Director, NTRO GP. CAPT.(R) Rajat Dwivedi.

Shri Amit Kumar Sinha, Director ITDA addressed the UP ATS team on Drone Forensic and future use of Drone. Shri Ramesh Kumar Sudhanshu (IAS) also showed his support on Drone Forensic Training and suggested the team should conduct such training programmes on a regular basis.

Lastly, Director ITDA expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the respected members, guests and representatives of all media present in the program for making the program a success.
