Former India cricketer and two-time World Cup winner Yuvraj Singh turned back the clock and showcased glimpses of his explosive best when he scored a brisk 59-run innings which included as many as seven huge sixes during the India Masters vs Australia Masters International Masters League (IML) T20 2025 semifinal match on March 13 (Thursday) at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur. Batting with Saching Tendulkar, Yuvraj stitched a crucial partnership helping India reach 220-7 in 20 overs.
Shane Watson-led Australia Masters won the toss and put the Tendulkar-led India Masters in to bat first. Yuvraj Singh came to the crease in the seventh over after Australia’s Xavier Doherty got rid of India Masters’ Pawan Negi. After playing his first ball for no run, Yuvraj showed that he meant business as he smashed the second ball he faced for a six.

Yuvraj, Sachin & Binny Power India To 220
The most expensive over of the match came when Australia’s Bryce McGain came on to bowl the 13th over and he went for 20 runs. Yuvraj Singh unleashed his best against McGain as he hit three sixes in the over.
Doherty, though, had the final laugh as he dismissed Yuvraj for 59 off 30 balls, hitting seven sixes and one four.
India Masters eventually finished their innings at 220-7 in 20 overs with Yuvraj being the top-scorer for the team. Sachin Tendulkar played a good supporting hand with a 30-ball 42 runs innings while Stuart Binny provided the finishing touch with a 21-ball 36 runs knock.
