The rare 4 headed Shivalinga of Chaumukh Nath Mandir, Bundelkhand

An extremely rare manifestiation of Shiva via a 4 headed Shivalinga at Chaumukh Nath Temple, Saleha, District Panna, Bundelkhand, MP.

The left face represents Vish Grahan Roop while the right face represents the Parinay Shaant roop. The temple is believed to be from the 5th century C.E.

An extremely rare manifestation of Lord Shiva is the 4 headed Shivalinga at Chaumukh Nath Mandir, Bundelkhand. The four faces respresent Vish Grahan Roop, Parinay Shaant Roop, Ardhanareshwar Roop and Dulha Roop respectively. The Mandir is believed to be from the 5th cen C.E.
