
Tech Mahindra Q4FY25 Results: IT services and consulting firm Tech Mahindra for the March quarter reported a 18.7 per cent growth in net profit quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to Rs 1,167 crore. On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, the profit grew 76.5 per cent. The steep rise in net profit is on the back of a sharp increase in other income during the March quarter.
Zee Business research anticipated net profit to come in higher by 10 per cent sequentially at Rs 1,083 crore versus Rs 989 crore in the quarter ending December 31, 2024.
Tech Mahindra’s topline performance
During the review quarter, the company’s revenue grew 0.7 per cent sequentially to Rs 13,384 crore, while it grew 4 per cent year-on-year.
In constant currency (CC) terms, Tech Mahindra’s revenue during the March quarter fell 1.5 per cent sequentially. Zee Business research anticipated revenue in CC terms to decline 0.6 per cent sequentially.
Revenue in dollar terms during the March quarter came in at $1,549 million, down 1.2 per cent sequentially.
Operational show
Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) during the March quarter grew 4.1 per cent sequentially to Rs 1,405 crore. This is better than Zee Business estimates of a 2.3 per cent rise in EBIT to Rs 1,382 crore.
Attrition
Total headcount at the IT services major declined by 1,757 sequentially, however, it rose by 3,276 year-on-year. Furthermore, LTM attrition is reported at 11.8 per cent, while the same was 11 per cent in the December qusrter.
Tech Mahindra’s dividend announcement
The company for the FY ending March 31, 2025 announced a final dividend of Rs 30 per share. Recommended Final Dividend of Rs. 30/- per equity share of the face value of Rs. 5/- each (600%) for the financial year ended 31st March, 2025, subject to the Members’ approval at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of the Company, said the company’s filing with the exchanges.

Ahead of the results today, shares of the company settled higher by 0.5 per cent at Rs 1,446.1 per share on the BSE.
