
Ojas Bharti and Aahana Malla Appointed Head Boy and Head Girl
Dehradun: Olympus High hosted its Investiture Ceremony, celebrating the leadership, dedication, and commitment of the newly appointed student council. Held on the school premises, the ceremony witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students, faculty, and parents.
The program commenced with the school song, followed by an address from Principal Dr. Jyoti Gupta, who emphasized the importance of nurturing leadership within the school environment. She noted that true leadership lies in actions and values, stating, “True leadership is not about holding a position, but about being the change you wish to see in the world.”
Later during the ceremony, parents were invited on stage to stand beside their children, symbolizing the strong support system behind each young leader. The badge ceremony followed, during which students were adorned with their official titles. Ojas Bharti was appointed Head Boy, and Aahana Malla was named Head Girl for the academic year 2025–26. Gaurav Pokhriyal and Saumya Aggarwal were appointed Vice Head Boy and Vice Head Girl, respectively.
Pradhyumna Thapliyal and Vaishnavi Nautiyal were appointed as the Sports Captains. The student leaders of the four houses were also announced which included, Anamika Saini and Pranjul Sharma for Saam House, Aastha Rawat and Ekjot Singh Rathore for Atharva House, Shruti Dhiman and Mayank Pundir for Rig House, and Tanvi Sajwan and Aarush Bhatt for Yajur House.
The school further introduced key team leaders across various departments. Harshita was named Editorial Team Leader, Kavya Kashyap was appointed to lead the Discipline Team, and Hemant Saini was announced as Cultural Team Leader.
Another significant moment of the ceremony was the Oath-Taking Ceremony, led by the Managing Director of Olympus High, Dr. Kunal Shamshere Malla. Each council member pledged to serve the school community with honesty, courage, and dedication.
In his Vote of Thanks, Dr. Malla shared his thoughts, stating, “Leadership begins with self-discipline, and the badge you wear today is not just a symbol of status, but a reminder of the service, humility, and courage expected of you. I am proud of each one of you and confident that you will inspire others through your actions.”
