Olympus High Celebrates 27th Annual Prize Distribution & Annual Day with Presentation of “Vikram and Vetaal”
Dehradun : Olympus High celebrated its 27th Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony and Annual Day with great enthusiasm, and cultural grandeur through a Sound and Light theatrical presentation — “Vikram and Vetaal.”The event reflected the school’s commitment towards holistic education, creativity and nurturing confident young minds.
The program commenced with the ceremonial welcome of the distinguished guests followed by the lamp lighting ceremony. The school choir further presented a soulful rendition of the School Song.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Neha Joshi. Other eminent dignitaries present on the occasion included Suresh Prasad Mamgain, T.K. Agarwal and Avinanda (Sudhir Jolly).
A special segment of the evening was dedicated to honouring distinguished theatre personalities for their immense contribution to the field of performing arts. The school also released its annual magazine, showcasing the literary, artistic and creative achievements of the students.
The Annual Report was presented by Director/Principal Dr. Anuradha Pundeer Malla, highlighting the school’s academic milestones, co-curricular achievements and progressive initiatives undertaken during the academic session.
The major highlight of the evening was the grand theatrical production “Vikram and Vetaal,” directed by Kunal Shamshere Malla. The spectacular presentation blended theatre, dance, music, technology and powerful visual storytelling, transporting the audience into a world of mystery, wisdom and imagination.
Nearly 200 students participated in the mega production and delivered captivating performances with remarkable confidence, stage presence and acting skills. The extraordinary sound, lighting and visual effects added cinematic brilliance to the presentation and kept the audience mesmerized throughout the evening. The choreography and artistic movement were curated by Vibrantion Dance Academy.
The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony marked another proud moment of the celebration as students were felicitated for achieving the A+ category and maintaining 100% attendance. Teachers were also honoured for completing 10 years and above of dedicated service along with exemplary attendance records.
The event witnessed the presence of Managing Director Dr. Kunal Shamshere Malla, Principal Dr. Anuradha Pundeer Malla, Vice Principal MArchana, coordinators, faculty members, parents and invited guests.The program concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks expressing sincere gratitude towards the honoured guests, parents, teachers, coordinators, students and support staff for their unwavering support and contribution towards the successful execution of the event.
