“Indian nationals are strongly advised to avoid travelling to Pakistan. Those Indian nationals currently in Pakistan are also advised to return to India at the earliest,” MEA said.
The Government of India has also decided to suspend the visa services to Pakistani nationals with immediate effect. All the existing valid visas issued by India to Pakistani nationals also stand revoked with effect from April 27, 2025, according to MEA.
The centre has also decided that the medical visas issued to the Pakistani nationals will be valid only till April 29, 2025.
All Party Meeting Held In Parliament
On Thursday, the government briefed leaders of various political parties on the Pahalgam terror attack and heard their views at an all-party meeting. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju were present from the government’s side. Leader of the House in the Rajya Sabha J P Nadda, Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi were also present at the meeting chaired by Singh.
