KHEER always brings a smile ..
Here am sharing my favorite saffron (kesar) rice kheer, an Indian pudding…

Soak Basmati rice for 3 hrs or overnight.

INGREDIENTS 
* 1/4 basmati rice
* 1liter warm milk
* 6 tbls sugar ( u can adjust sweetness to your preference)
* 6/8 cardamon crushed
* a pinch of Kesar strands
* chopped nuts according to taste
* 2,3 drops kewda flavour of your taste

1) Soak keasr in 1 tbs of warm milk.
2) Take a pan add in desi ghee .
3) Add crushed cardamon.
4) Add rice n stir for a min on medium heat.
5) Add warm milk
6) Once it start boiling lower the heat but keep stirring
7) The milk will start Thickening then check the rice to make sure they are tender
add sugar and Kesar milk
9) Cook for another 10 min.
10) Mash the rice properly
11) Garnish with chopped nuts and serve warm or chilled.
