Scheme will help check migration from hilly areas

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat launched the’ Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojna’ from new bus stand, Pauri. Distributing the golden cards to the beneficiaries, Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand has become the first state in the country to give free health security to its’ residents. Under the scheme, free OPDs will soon start at registered hospitals for children and old in the state.  He said that dedicated air ambulance services in the state will start from January 26.

 Chief Minister said that the name of Pauri brings the problem of migration from hills to mind and it is a bitter truth that Pauri has suffered the worst from migration. He said that his government is trying hard to reverse the trend and work on better facilities of health, education and employment are being done.

  Chief Minister said that he has himself the geographic conditions of Pauri Garhwal district closely and knows that sometimes, the patients have to face lot of difficulties. He said that he does not want any poor person suffers due to want of money from health care. He said that his government has resolved to work for the good of everyone.

Chief Minister said that honorable Prime Minister started the Ayushman Bharat Yojna on September 21 and 5.37 lakh poor people of Uttarakhand are getting benefit of that scheme but we have lakhs of poor people who are not in Below Poverty Line (BPL) category and they do not have money for treatment in big hospitals. So his government started the ‘Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojna’ to prove free health cover worth rs five lakh to every family per year and Uttarakhand has become the first state to start universal health care scheme in the country.

He said that under the scheme, all the families can get treatment of heart disease,cancer and other 1350 diseases up to rs five lakh per annum free in government and other registered hospitals in the state. He said that it is his privilege to be with people to launch the scheme formally in Pauri.” We have started the scheme on the birthday of Atalji on December 25 last year. I very happy to announce that within 12 days, a total of 1,34,968 golden cards of the schemes have been issued, similarly, 79,000 cards of “Ayushman Bharat” scheme has also been issued. A total of 1061 people have already benefitted from the scheme. A total of 17,262 golden cards of ‘Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojna’ have been made in Pauri district and 25 people have availed of the claims under the scheme, “ Chief Minister said.

Chief Minister said that efforts have been made to make the scheme as simple as his priority is that people of the state enjoy good health as people have to spend lot of money on serious ailments but this cashless scheme will benefit the people as treatment without money is possible. A total of 99 government and 66 private hospitals have been chosen for the scheme. He hoped that in coming days private hospitals will come forward to provide health services in remote areas. He said that soon free OPDs for children and old will be started. “Dedicated air ambulances service will start from January 26. We still provide helicopter in case of airlifting seriously ill patients but air ambulances will be fully dedicated to this work,” he said. 

Farmers of the state to be provided farm loan at the zero per cent interest for agricultural equipments

  • Chief Minister lays foundation stone/inaugurates Rs. 107.73 schemes in Pauri

Chief Minster Trivendra Singh Rawat has said that farmers of the state to be provided farm loan at the zero per cent interest for agricultural equipment’s. He said that the interest amount of this will be compensated by the revenue generated from the mining, transport and power. This will help the farmers to double their income as well as facilitate the farmers. Prior to this, under the Deendayal Kisan Kalyan Yojana, small and marginal farmers were provided agricultural loans at 2 per cent interest rate, which benefited lakhs of farmers. Now, by providing loans to farmers at zero per cent interest rate will benefit them. This is an important step for the welfare of the farmers. Chief Minister made this announcement at Pauri on Monday.

Chief Minister also made announcement for the opening of the N.C.C Academy in Stithdevar situated in Kot Block of Pauri, to build the Lavali lake of Pauri, Rs 2 crore grant for beautification of Mata Sita Temple at Phal Swadi in Kot Block, to make the state’s first skill development college in Uttarkashi, residential school for meritorious children in Jaiharikhal, to build Ramkunddevprayag-Sabdarkhal-Kadekhal pumping scheme at a cost of Rs 19.11 crore, Construction of the motorway from Village Bhaktoli-Mundaneshwar and Dang-Bhawnu-Koladi to Shikrot-Pokhrikhet, construction of Bantapani-Kadakot-Bhubaneswar in Kot Block and construction of Ghorikhal band in to Pali-Rudail Aalidhar motorway in Pauri Block, concretization and improvement and allotment of the Sulabh toilets on the land of Health Department near the Satpuli police station to Nagar Panchayat, Satpuli.

In Pauri, Chief Minister inaugurated the Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana and laid foundation stone/inaugurated scheme of Rs 107.73 crores, which includes inauguration  of 11 schemes worth Rs 78.08 crores and foundation of 14 schemes worth Rs 29.65 crores.

 Chief Minister said that ten acres of land has been identified for NCC academy and the DPR of Lavali lake has been prepared which will be built at a cost of Rs 6.50 crore. The lake will store 80 lakh litre reserve water. The Chief Minister expressed concern at the situation of Pauri and Tehri and said that the government is framing policies so that these two districts are again in limelight. He said that a NCC academy will be set up at Pauri  under this initiative.

He reiterated not to make false announcements and said that out of 103 announcement made by him in Pauri 87 have been fulfilled and work on the remaining 16 have been going on which would be soon completed. Emhasisizing on quality of education , he said that aresidentiakl school with all the facilities is being constructed in Jaihrikhal Block in which wards of people having less income irrespective of caste creed or religion will be provided quality education so that students of the state could compete in any national competition. The Chief Minister also flagged off two ambulances on the occasion.       

Earlier, the Chief Minister also participated in the ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ programme at BJP district office. The Chief minister and state BJP Chief Ajay Bhatt jointly laid the  foundation. Higher Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Pauri legislator Mukesh Koli, Lansdown legislator Dilip Singh Rawat, Yamkeshwar legislator Ritu Khanduri, President of Health Advisory Committee  Gyan Singh Negi, Nagar palika Chief Yashpal benam and district level officers were present on the occasion.
