
Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif revealed on Friday that he was informed in the middle of the night about precision strikes on the country’s key airbases including the Nur Khan Air Base.
Sharif said he was alerted about India’s strikes under ‘Operation Sindoor‘ at 2:30 a.m. by Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir.
“At around 2:30 am on 10 May, General Syed Asim Munir called me on a secure line and informed me that India’s ballistic missiles have hit Nur Khan Airbase and other areas,” the PM said.
He also admitted that the precision strikes caused heavy damage to Pakistan’s military infrastructure including the Nur Khan Air Base.
