
Yajur House Wins the Champions Trophy
Dehradun: The Aryan School hosted its Annual Aquatic Meet today, drawing enthusiastic participation from students across all four houses, Atharva, Sama, Rig, and Yajur. The event, held at the school’s swimming pool, witnessed an exciting lineup of races and relays that highlighted the students’ talent, determination, and team spirit.
The event was graced by Principal B Dasgupta. The program began on a melodious note with a soulful rendition by the school choir, setting the tone for the day.
Throughout the meet, students competed in a variety of swimming events including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and mixed relay. Each race showcased the dedication and training of the young athletes, who gave their best performances in front of a cheering audience.
Following the intense competition, the results were announced. Yajur House was declared the winner of the Champions Trophy. Whereas, Sama House secured the second position and Atharva House secured the third position. The Best Swimmer (Boys) award was secured by Shourya Rawat of Yajur House, while the Best Swimmer (Girls) award went to Nivedita Bhardwaj of Atharva House.
Addressing the gathering, Principal B Dasgupta expressed pride in the students’ efforts and said, “The Aquatic Meet is more than just a sporting event, it is a celebration of discipline, effort, and the true spirit of sportsmanship. Watching our students push their limits and support one another is always inspiring. I congratulate all participants here today.”
