Ojaswi Aniruddha Deshmukh, a 4-years-old girl from Dehradun has been honoured by ‘International Book of Records’ as “Youngest to answer Capitals of all Countries, Indian States & Union Territories”.
She achieved this at a tender age of 3 years & 11 months. Being a proud parents her mother Mrs. Pragati Aniruddha Deshmukh and father Mr Aniruddha Ajay Deshmukh always encourage her and provide healthy environment which is most important for proper nourishment.
The journey started at the age of just 2 years; when her parents noticed Ojaswi’s interest in learning Indian State & Capital names. At the age 2 years & 3 months she remembered all of these.
Then at the age of 2 years & 10 months she starts recognising & reading the state name & capitals even though she was not enrolled in the school.
This was a moment which encourage her parents to introduce Ojaswi with new task and it was to learn the capitals of countries around the world.
Initially some of the simple names were introduced to her and further moving towards the little difficult names to remember.
As Ojaswi started enjoying the learning process, she remembered 197 countries & its capital cities by the age of 3 years & 10 months.
Apart from achieving this; Ojaswi can identify & knows the name of planets in solar system, all continents, oceans, highest mountain & deepest point on earth. She can count the numbers from 1 to 100 and read the English alphabets in reverse manner.
Ojaswi can also recite/chants Ganpati Arati & some of the Mantra’s in Marathi language very fluently.
She also loves gardening, book reading, puzzle solving, drawing, etc. currently she is studying in LKG in St. Josephs Academy, Dehradun.
